Phifer Solar Screens

What is a solar screen?
	A solar screen is a coated woven polyester yarn that can block up to 80 & 90% of the suns radiant heat from entering you house through windows, doors, & skylights. It is a full length screen that will cover the entire glass opening and reflect heat, absorb heat and dissipate that heat away from your window, door, or skylight. We only use the best solar screening material on the market today which is the Phifer Suntex solar screen material.

The key is stopping the heat before it gets to the glass. When glass heats up it radiates the heat into the house.

All Suntex material is mildew and fade resistant and needs only an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. It is extremely durable and also pet resistant.

The material comes in 4 standard colors to enhance the easthetic value or your house.

Framing material is aluminum so it will not rust and comes in colors to match your existing window frames. Standard frame colors are white, bronze, tan, champagne, and aluminum. We only use 1" frames as standard. Smaller frames are only used on specialty windows that require them.

We now can offer screens with custom grids to enhance the look of your house. Grids take away the look of the standard solar screen. See pictures below and other places on this site for homes with custom grids.

Also, we now have available roll down sun shades that can be used on patios, porches, balconies, commercial buildings, and anywhere that you want to block the sun for part of the day. Roll down shades provide privacy, and allows excellent views while providing the shade you need.
